Non-Executive Director of the Royal Bank of Scotland and a member of its Group Nominations Committee, Group Audit Committee and Board Risk Committee. Mr. Friis is also a Member of the Board of Directors of The Canadian Institute for Advanced Research. He retired from the Royal Bank of Canada in 2014 after a 34-year career serving as its Chief Risk Officer from 2004 until his retirement.
